Day 1

Word count: 0

Hey reader,

Today is the first day of NaNoWrimo 2015! There aren’t even words to express how excited I am right now.

So for this year, I’m going to be writing a novel that I’ve started to write before, got to around 48,000 words, and then decided it needed to be rewritten. I’ve done this rewriting thing twice now, and this is the final time I’m scrapping the whole thing. Why? Because this is NANOWRIMO, where dreams come true!

Anyway, I’ll be updating my word count regularly on this blog, probably ranting about something in each post, and might even share some of my story with you!

Happy writing,

Kelli.

NaNoWriMo 2015

Hey Reader!

If you haven’t heard, I’m participating in NaNoWriMo this year! It stands for National Novel Writing Month and is a challenge that anyone can participate in. Here’s the challenge: Write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. That’s it! It’s going to be really fun and I encourage everyone to at least try it, not to mention the fact that you can get prizes even for just participating. The website for it is at the bottom.

So here is the deal: The new novel that I am starting for NaNoWriMo needs a name. I have had some really great ideas from people who know what the novel is about, and I’ve narrowed it down to 10. The poll below only lists five of them, so if the one you like isn’t on there, comment below! It would be great if you all could take a second to vote in the link below for your favorite.

Here are the ten titles:
-Holding My Breath
-Where Things Burn
-Oxygen
-Until Proven Innocent
-Drag Me Down
-Below Zero
-Wherever I Go
-Beneath the Surface
-Fire to Ash
-October Shadows

Vote for the title here!
